An Institution calculates its assessment as follows: If student a has final mark of 75 and above, he/she has a distinction. If a student has a mark which is less than 75 but above or equal to 50, he/she has a pass. If a student has mark less than 50 but above or equal to 45, he/she qualifies for a supplementary exam. If the student has a final mark less than 45, he/she has failed.
