An integrated pulp and paper mill produces two paper grades (SC paper, LWC paper) and pulp at the mill site. The mill consumes both MP steam (Middle pressure steam) and BP steam (Back pressure steam). Table 1 shows summary of flow rates needed to define the heat consumption of the mill. Tahle 1 Simmarv of material flow rates A) MP and BP steam consumptions Table 2 and 3 show steam consumptions of the pulp and paper mill in winter, respectively. ADT= Air Dry Ton, dry solids content of the product is 90% BP= Back pressure steam, MP= Middle pressure steam Tahle 2 Steam coneumntions and condencate return at the naner mill in winter Other initial data MP steam: pressure 11 bar (abs.), temperature 254C BP steam: pressure 4 bar (abs.), temperature 166C Make-up water: pressure 4 bar (abs.), temperature 40C Condensate from the mill: pressure 1 bar (abs.), temperature 90C Calculate how much MP and BP steams are needed at the pulp mill in winter in units kg/s and MW. Calculate how much MP and BP steams are needed at the paper mill in winter in units kg/s and MIW. Calculate what is the total demand of MP and BP steams at the mill in MW. Remember to compensate steam losses at the mill by make-up water when you calculate steam consumptions in MW
