an| Problem Question 1 Sharon and Rob are small business owners. They run a large butchers shop in Yarraville that specialises in gourmet meats and poultry, as well as select condiments, such as sauces, relishes and gravies to accompany the meats they sell. Unfortunately, their trainee employee has placed the incorrect sale price on a ticket in front of the Peppercorn Steak Sauce, stating "special 3 for $7\". The Peppercorn Steak Sauce is homemade and normally sells for $7 each. The ticke was meant to be "special 3 for $14\". Jane, one of the store's best customers, is delighted when she sees the ticket and takes 15 bottles of Peppercorn Steak Sauce to the counter. It is her husband's favourite sauce for their weekly steak barbeque. Sharon refuses to sell the sauce for the ticketed price. Jane argues that there is a legal agreement between her and the business, and insists that she is only required to pay $7 per 3 bottles of sauce. Advise Sharon whether Jane is correct, considering relevant principles under the law of contract. Please remember to refer to any relevant legal cases and/or legislation to support your arguments, and ensure you fully explain the legal position. Type your answer in the answer box below
