Anakoni enters into a lease agreement with Awushi, whereby Anakoni will rent Awushi's fiat for two years. Before she moves in, the ladies agree to the rental amount and deposit. Awushi forgets to give Anakoni the keys and Anakoni cannot move in on the date agreed. When Anakoni eventually moves in, Awushi is always around and visits unexpectedly without asking Anakoni's permission. Some months later Anakoni also received a summons for rates and taxes that were not paid. To add to her frustration, the geyser keeps tripping the electricity and Awushi refuses to fix it.
