Analyze the case study passage below and answer the questions thereof. Communication demands the flow of information, messages, ideas, instructions between two people or groups involving the process of sending and receiving the purposes behind by understanding issues raised. For feedback in communication in the business sector to thrive we must ensure that there are several lines or levels or ways to convey (send/receive) information. It goes to both large/small groups internally (within) and externally (outside) the organization using the means or media or types or forms or modes of communication (oral, written).
The next aspect that comes to mind is the movement of messages vertically (downward from top management to lower management or upward from lower management to top management). Followed by horizontal (same level from manager to manager). Last in that order is diagonal (across all levels of staff using meeting or workshop for brainstorming).
All types of business establishments in the public and private sectors have industrial prayers in respect of internal stakeholders as those people within or forming part of the organization as shareholders (owners), management/subordinate staff (employers/employees). They work together to archive stated objectives of the organization. It comes to external stakeholders as those outside the organization. They are the clients/customers, suppliers, journalists, government officials. Therefore, there is interaction between the two groups for successful business.
In communicating between the encoder and decoder we need data and information processes. It involves facts/figures, events, transactions, etc. recorded as input of raw materials. For example, it takes the form of unarranged names of staff into departments of an organization. Similarly, data is processed based on input of raw materials becoming useful to recipient as information. Also, it takes the form of arranged names of staff in alphabetical order according to departments of an organization.
