On Tuesday 10th October, at 21:30, the agreed time for residents to transition to their bedrooms, Andrew starts to become agitated because he is not ready to go to bed. He refuses to leave the common area and is verbally abusive to both staff members and other residents in the area. When a staff member approaches Andrew, he tries to hit them. To provide you with an opportunity to participate in workplace debriefing to address individual needs. This will be a role-play activity and will need to be observed. As part of a role-play activity, refer back to the table you developed in Activity 1C. Acting as though the plan was unsuccessful, take part in a workplace debriefing with 2-3 of your peers, focusing on how you might address the client's needs in the future. Document the results of your debriefing, identifying at least one strategy which could be applied in the future.
