Angel Photos is a small business that travels around schools (primary and secondary) in Tasmania taking class photographs and individual student photos. These photos are the finest quality when printed and are presented in a high quality display folder. The photographs are delivered by Angel Photos to the school office staff and they distribute them to students, teachers and parents and receive the money at that time. Once all the money is collected by the office staff, it is sent to Angel Photos (together with any uncollected photos), Angel Photos uses a small accounting package to manage its operations-Diamond Accounting Pro. This software runs on a server that is connected to three locally networked computers. Recently there have been complaints that the package has become slow in processing transactions. The server (and indeed network) is also fast approaching capacity. It has not been upgraded for many years and is also handling the business' digital imaging requirements. As a result of the over-stretched system, Angel Photos is considering the possibility of an upgrade to its system.
