Annika is the CEO of an international sales company. Annika wants to start selling products in the faraway nation of Caprica, as she sees significant opportunity for profits there and in turn can employ many more American workers as a result. Annika learns that her potential Caprican customers strongly prefer negotiating with a man than a woman. Both Nancy and Mark are similarly qualified salespersons, but she chooses Mark to lead the Caprican sales delegation in order to avoid gender-based conflicts with Capricans. Nancy is furious and considers suing her employer for sex discrimination. Is Nancy likely to win?
