In your position essay (see below), you have formulated an ethics system for modern society. Now, you will identify a person, organization, or company that violates these ethics. Your research will focus on finding out more about these violations and also on what the person, organization, or company can do to improve their ethics.

This assignment requires you to thoroughly research a thesis statement, by gathering solid sources, reading them, and describing how each source contributes to your argument. This is a preparation for the research essay and presentation, when you will present their findings and support all claims with data from excellent sources.

Each source needs an annotation paragraph (120 - 200 words per annotation), explaining the main idea of the article, how the source will be used in the research essay, and including one or two useful direct or indirect quotes with in-text citations.
