The sculpture is made from discarded kitchen cabinets and tiles and is called "Kitchen Remnants." Veronica, seeing an opportunity to make two sales, crafts an identical replica of the original statute. She then contacts both Francis and Martha and sells a copy of the sculpture to each for $10,000 apiece. Veronica represents "Kitchen Remnants" to be an original one-of-a-kind sculpture. On June 1, Siri, a friend of both Francis and Martha, visits Francis and sees the "Kitchen Remnants" in Francis's apartment. Siri tells Francis that Martha has the identical sculpture.
