QUESTION TWO (a) What are the qualications and functions of the liquidator under the Companies Act of 2017? (10 marks) (c) Mukelebai is offered a job at Mulungushi University as an Accountant, subject to satisfactory references from his former employers, Kabwe Commercial Bank. His former employers take long to send the reference letters, and they are sent when Mukelebai has completed his probation of three months and has been conrmed in his position. The reference states that Mukelebai suffers from sickle cell anemia, a complication which renders him absent from work frequently. Mulungushi University looks for a way of getting rid of Mukelebai, but cannot nd any fault. The Management opts to reduce his salary from 15,000 Kwacha to 12,000 Kwacha without his consent. He writes a letter of resignation to management. You are the legal adviser of the University. Explain whether the University has infringed any labour rights as far as Mukelabai is concerned. (10 mark S) [20 marks]
