Critically evaluate the leadership of your chosen organization in terms of their response to the major changes to life and business brought on by the deadly virus. In addition, demonstrate how the leadership of your chosen organization encourages and enhances learning which was a crucial trait for organizations to have at the height of the pandemic.
Section 3 (30 Marks)
Leadership development is vital to the success of organizations in modern times. A continuous leadership development program in an organization produces leaders who are empowered and have strong role clarity. Leaders who are immersed in leadership development are more innovative and able to engage in strategic problem solving well. These leaders are able to attract and retain excellent staff and enhance the general productivity of the organization, which has an overall positive impact on the bottom line of the organization. The covid-19 pandemic brought about change which would have required agility and the ability to adapt to change.
