Vernier caliper one sheet each of any 4 measuring capacitance scissors types of paper connecting wires ruler transparent tape compass bond papers paper clips graphing paper pencil PROCEDURE: A Parallel Plate Capacitor 1. Cut two 2.5 centimeters by 5.0 centimeters pieces of aluminum foil, which will be used ask conductors, and 3.5 centimeters by 6.0 centimeters of bond paper as the dielectric material. Measure the thickness of the paper. 2. Using transparent tape, attach the pieces of aluminum foil at the center of the paper, with one piece on each side. 3. Straighten to metal paper clips. Attach one on each piece of aluminum foil. 4. Using a multimeter, measure the capacitance of the paper capacitor. 5. Change the area of the aluminum foil and paper dielectric and measure the capacitance. You may use 3.0 centimeters by 5.5 centimeters aluminum foil and 4.0 centimeters by 6.5 centimeters bond paper. Repeat steps 1 to 5 using three more types of paper and compare the capacitance of each. Record all your observations in table 1.
