Zenith Pharmaceutical is recently facing problems and have received threat of shut down from labor union if their demand is not entertained. You have joined very recently, and management has given you the responsibility to find a solution to the crisis. You have met with the union leaders and identified the main cause of the crisis which is the demotivation of the workers with the pay. You have studied the pay plan of Zenith and identified that the organization is using the basic time rate system over the years to pay wages to workers. Most of the workers are having long experiences to work with Zenith and a good number of workers belongs to 70-80% learning curve range. You believe that the workers deserve incentives, however, there is no such policy under current pay system.
