The local mayor is interested to study if this wait time is longer than 5.5 minutes, so the analyst stated the null and alternative hypothesis as follows: Ho: H S 5.5 Hj: u > 5.5 Suppose analyst observed 33 randomly selected callers to the emergency system and measured the service time as outlined above and found out X = 5.57 minutes. Based on these measurements, carry out a test at significance level of alpha=5% for above hypothesis by: a) State degree of freedom and calculate test statistic.
