Leong is an employee in a food processing company which is situated in Kuala Lumpur. Leong earns a salary of RM 1750. He also receives a RM150 meal allowance and RM 50 attendance allowance. Leong's rest day is on Thursday, and he normally works eight hours a day. In the month of December 2020, on the 16th, he did two hours of overtime due to machine breakdown. The breakdown was not fully resolved so that on the following day he has to come and complete his work for another 4 hours at the factorybefore going back home. In the following week, due to overwhelming demand, the company requested him to come to work on the 24th and 25th of December 2020. On both days, Leong completed his eight hours shift with no overtime on the 24thbut did 3 hours overtimeon the 25th.
As the HR executive in the company, calculate the amount of wage the company must pay to Leong for December 2020 given the above situation. Briefly explain the rules in Employment Act that you follow in deciding Leong's wages for that month.
