Antifederalists, the likes of Patrick Henry argued that the constitution that was been defended had got the effect of leading to a more centralized government. The Anti-federalists argued that the constitution had bestowed a lot of power to the federal government, hence depriving the state governments their powers. They felt that, bestowing a lot of power to the central government would result to disservice to the American citizens. The party of my choice In my case, I will prefer Antifederalist party to the federalists. This is based on the fact that, powerful state government are more beneficial to the citizens as opposed to strong centralized government.
