Aqeel have recently joined We Advise Law Firm(WALF)Muscat as trainee consultant .WALF is an international Legal firm registered in UK and having one of their branches in Oman, which advices new start-up companies on the legal system and key legislations. Mr. Haitham, manager of the firm asked Aqeel to prepare a Law Handbook which will help the new start-up companies to effectively run their business. This handbook must contain all salient legislation which a businessman must know and their impact due to non-fulfilment. The report must also provide a coherent and critical evaluation of the legal system and law, with evidence drawn from a range of different examples to support judgements. The Law handbook must include the following areas of legal systems.

1. An explanation of the legal system.

2. An overview of the sources of law.

3. An explanation on the role of government in law-making.

4. An explanation of the key legislation that a new business needs to be aware of.

5. Explain and evaluate the potential implications of major business law on a business.

_ Explain the role of government in law making and how statutory and common law is applied in the justice courts.
