The transactions for the two-month period ending 31 October are provided below (all amounts are inclusive of VAT, where appropriate): 1. The business provided travel services worth R11 800 to customers who settled the amount in cash. 2. The monthly utilities bill of R2 000 for water and electricity was settled with the municipality by EFT. 3. The business organised a holiday for customers for cash. It charged R12 000 for the provision of these services. 4. The business purchased a return tickets from Cape Town to Johannesburg for one of its staff members to attend a conference (i.e. business purposes). The total cost of the ticket was R3 200, of which R3 000 was for the airfare, and the balance of R200 for using the Gautrain. The business paid for this online using the business's debit card details. 5. The business treated a client to lunch and settled the bill with the business's debit card. The meal cost R700. 6. The business bought toner cartridges for the business printer at a cost of R1 560. It settled this amount in cash. Per the bank statement, the business incurred the following: interest on overdraft of R800, internet and mobile banking charges of R250, other transactional charges of R150, and government levies of R18. 7. 8.
