Arthur has taken a part-time job with Datin Jenab to pay off his debts with Mike. Arthur will be responsible for cleaning, designing, and landscaping Datin Jenab's garden as she intended to grow Caladiums. They agreed that the work should finish within two months for RM6000.00. However, Datin Jenab will only pay the amount once the project is completed. Arthur had started the project for three weeks when Datin Jenab changed her mind to have a swimming pool in her garden rather than Caladiums. However, Datin Jenab decided to hire Mr Potato, her gym instructor, who has prior experience building swimming pools in the neighbourhood. Both Datin Jenab and Arthur agreed to end the contract. However, Datin Jenab refused to pay Arthur because she has prepared breakfast and lunch for Arthur while he was working with her. Datin Jenab also expressed her dissatisfaction with Arthur's performance. Arthur was angry with the decisions as he had also spent time, energy and other costs such as transportation over the last three weeks performing the work. What is the issues, rules, application and conclusion?
