Article Review Assignment

The focus on the article assignment is to introduce you to the relevant application of accounting to our world. You will pick an article that piqued your curiosity as it relates to accounting from the Pivot CPA magazine. You will thoroughly read, summarize and write a report analyzing the article you have chosen. You may also choose to analyze a podcast instead of an article if that is of interest to you.

As you read the article, you will need to also begin formulating your opinions about the article and the specific topic that you selected, because the final write-up that you submit will not only require a summary of the article, but more importantly, your opinions about the topic, and whether you agree or disagree with the author, and to really critically think about the topic and article that you chose. You may need to do additional research to help form your thoughts, and opinions. Be sure to cite all sources.

The final submission will require you to a four page report that primarily includes your opinions, critical analysis, thoughts and ideas you may have on the article/topic that you selected. Use headings in your article to help organize your information. You can also have the option to present your findings in alternative to the report. It could be slideshow, poster, audio/podcast, video etc.You need to ensure the format in which your choose to present the information allows you to meet the guidelines below Please have your alternative choice approved before starting
