ARTICLE V WORK WEEK Section 1. The work week for full-time employees shall be as follows: The workweek for full-time employees shall be as follows: The workweek shall start at 12:01 a.m. each Monday. The number of hours for the regular workweek shall be established solely by Employer for each employee, provided that for full-time employees, the number of hours regularly worked per week may not exceed forty (40). Positions assigned by Employer for additional hours shall be posted in accordance with the standards of Section 2 of Article XVI. Such positions shall be filled by employees selected in the following order of determination: a) Employees who have applied and currently hold a position with the same, or substantially similar, job description as the job description applicable to the posted position and who have special language skills that may be materially important to the position being filled. b) If the number of applicants satisfying the above criterion does not fill the applicable positions, the next order of preference shall be the selection of employees without special language skills who otherwise have applied and currently hold a position with the same, or substantially similar, job description as the job description applicable to the posted position
