Samuel Absolom enrolled in the school and did well academically. But he assaulted and/or harassed fellow students, often asked an instructor not to mark him late for class, received complaints from hospital staff about his demeanor, and was convicted of driving while intoxicated.

The Committee on Students unanimously refused to certify him for graduation and dismissed him from the university. Please know without citing primary sources of law in a courtroom, (i.e. merely relying upon ChatGPT) the judge would most likely scold you, adjourn the case, and send you back to your law office to conduct legal research. For instance, attorneys use computer assisted legal research platforms such as Westlaw Next or LexisNexis to find primary sources of law in support of their client's position which are very expensive and unavailable to the general public. (4) ARGUMENTS: Fourth step to answer the issues, type the following query in the ChatGPT query window, "can you answer this ethical law fact pattern" (once again use the fact pattern for New Mexico Medical College set forth above). Notice ChatGPT merely provides brief legal principles in answer to the issues without citing any primary sources of law or rationale for the answers. As a result, you must now draft persuasive arguments applying the law you located to the facts of this case. Craft arguments in support of a legal cause of action against the Medical College or arguments in support of affirmative defenses relieving the Medical College from legal liability.

(5) CONCLUSION.: Focus on the overall solution to the problem, for instance, which party will prevail and why?
