Develop health and safety policy report that will enable your employer to meet the health, safety and welfare obligations to the staff and be able to demonstrate that they have an effective system in place to meet their legal obligations regarding workplace.

Your policy report should include the following sections:

1. Statement of intent Clearly state your general policy on health and safety at work

2. Responsibilities for health and safety Clearly set out the roles and responsibilities of the people who have specific obligations for health and safety

3. Arrangements for health and safety Clearly specify arrangements that are in place in your workplace such as:

i. Risk assessment

ii. Training and safe use of equipment

iii. Accidents investigation and reporting

iv. Consultation with employees

v. Emergency situations
