As a part of an organization it is the employee's responsibility to keep the company's information private and secured.

Under the privacy policy of an organization all the policies and statements are mentioned and all the employees have to remain under the code and have to follow all the rules and regulations.

It is a crime to share or disclose any confidential data or information of the company without any agreement to any third party.

Whenever a company/organization inform the employees that they do not want their personal information collected or shared, then the employees must abide by these decisions, therefore any information can't be sold or distributed to others.

In organizations the data is extremely sensitive, hence workers must practice privacy protections so that information is not inadvertently shared to any third party or competitor.

Security measures, secure storage, and protection of data for purposes of privacy should be defined as a policy and as procedures that are activated in IT, which is the custodian of the data. IT practices should adhere to guidance and standards that are issued from both legal and compliance sources.

Therefore, in our present scenario Michael Murphy is caught with the company's sensitive data recorded on CDs, hard drives and thumb drives and he was caught while trying to run away from his current location to some other country which is strictly against the law and its policies and hence he is a criminal and his criminal offence needs to be subjected and presented to the cyber security and therefore he will be punished for whatever he has done.

Under the cyber security law he will be punished for the crime of committing fraud, trafficking intellectual property, stealing private information & data, and violating privacy.

Further the digital evidences need for investigation will be his call records, emails, storage device, CDs, hard disk and drives and all the other digital stuffs which he was carrying with himself.

His identity and all the information along with his passport and identity card will be taken in account for further investigation and clarification on the whole scene.

After all the proper interrogation and investigation he will be punished by the government for committing cyber offence.
