As a professor and program chair, publishers often send me unsolicited copies of textbooks to review in hopes that I will adopt the textbook for my courses. Over time, these textbooks stack up in my office. Recently, a young lady stopped by my office and offered to pay me for my bin full of textbooks. She said that she is a textbook reseller and she sells the textbooks to disadvantaged students at a fraction of the cost that the bookstore or online store would charge. She explained that this is a great service for students. Would it be ethical for me to sell the textbooks to the reseller? What should I do?Explain
