As a school counselor working with a 6th grade female Muslim student who is in fear of touching anything contaminated and is washing her hands excessively causing abrasions and bleeding. Further, she has been through a tragedy of her home being demolished by a hurricane and lived for a period of time in a dirty homeless shelter where residents became ill. This student is late for classes due to excessive hand washing and she still does not feel as though they are clean.
