As a school division head, my daily responsibilities involve ensuring students have adequate materials to perform well. Besides, I always ensure they utilize the hours in school effectively to attain good grades. This includes following the school curriculum and utilizing their remedial effectively to boost their grades. Though I am keen on these situations, I have found myself on several occasions where I had to do a statistical analysis testing the relationship between hours of study and exam scores. To determine this relation, I use a paired t-test. According to Hayes (2023), a t-test determines the difference between two variables and how they relate. Therefore, to determine the relation, I divided students into two groups based on study time and then conducted a t-test to establish the association between their study hours and their exam scores
