As a senior manager of a global company, my thoughts would be prioritizing safety of employees, communication, employee support, financial implication, recovery planning, learning and continuous improvement and so on. As a senior manager, my priority would be my employee's safety and several key areas that come with that. The second would be open communication. With clear and open communication, | will keep my employees calm and inform. Everyone needs to know what is going on, what measures we are taking and the latest updates. Next, it is important for managers to provide support for their employees who may be affected by any situation, whether physically, emotionally, or financially. This could include offering access to healthcare services, counseling resources, flexible work arrangement and financial assistance or hardship caused by any situation. One of the most important parts for a senior manager would be to have a financial implication and recovery plan. That includes evaluating the financial stability of the company, identifying areas for cost-saving and implementing strategies to restore financial health. Finaly, every crisis presents an opportunity for learning and growth. Those lessons should be used for managers to improve and update our safety procedures, train staff accordingly and change how to do business in future. In conclusion, | would say that all steps starting from employee safety, open communication, to financial implications and continues improvement are important parts to have as a senior manager of a global company but well-being and safety of employees should be top priority. As a leader you should always contribute positively to your internal and external community.
