Market research has shown that approximately 60% of the entire petrol market consists of "service-oriented customers." These have from medium to high income and are willing to payan overprice for the petrol given that

the petrol station provides excellent customer service in the form of clean stations, has store goods, service-oriented employees, short waiting times and high quality gasoline. The remaining 40% of the market are price-conscious customers who are constantly seekingthe cheapest petrol available. AS Hyoktan's strategy is to focus on the service-oriented part of the market.
