As international students, you are just beginning to learn about Canadian society and culture. Although there are many similarities, there are also likely many different cultural differences compared to the country that you are from.

PART 1.

Using Hofstede's framework for cultural dimensions determine where your home country ranks on each of the five dimensions.

• From reading the definitions and description of each dimension try to rank where your home country belongs on a scale of 1 - 100.
• Your Group MUST provide a brief explanation in your own words for your decision.
• Once you have ranked your home country on each dimension please create a code of conduct for anybody that may visit your home country that will be viewed as appropriate behaviors and practices by the local population.
  • Provide 5 different activities, behaviors, or interactions and what the code of conduct should look like for each one.

PART 2.

Using the same framework conduct the same activity for the country that you are now living in (Canada). Rank this country using Hofstede's five dimensions by using a combination of personal experience and online research.
