As part of testing a COVID19 vaccine's safety for use in young child the severity of side effects needs to be evaluated. The severity of side effects was ranked on a scale from 1 (no aches or chills) to 4 (severe aches and chills). The side effects experienced by ten (10) patients of different ages between 1 and 5 years are shown in the table and graph below. Conduct an analysis to determine if the severity of side effects is influenced by age. State: the test used, the null and alternate hypotheses, whether your test is one- or twotailed, the test statistic showing your calculations, the critical value of the test statistic, the P value and a conclusion with regard to whether there is evidence for an effect of age on severity of side effects.
