As per the sixth edit on of the PMBOK there are ten knowledge areas These 10 PMP knowledge areas

include the core technical subject mater that is necessary to successfully manage projects. The project management knowledge

areas are the key aspects of project management that should be managed by project managers to enable them to plan, schedule,

track and deliver projects successfully with the help of the project team and project stakeholders.

Each of these project management knowledge areas needs to be managed throughout the five project life cycle phases, which are

project initaton, project planning, project executon, monitoring and controlling, and project closing which are the phases that every

project goes through, also called as project management process groups as mentoned in PMI's PMBOK.

10. Stakeholder management

Pick at least any five knowledge areas from this list and sort them in descending order startng with the most important one as #1

and then listng others based on their importance as perceived by you; your #5 knowledge area in the list will have minimum

importance for you as compared to other 4.

(less important than #1 but more important than #3)- Communicatons management

(less important than #2 but more important than #4)- Scope management

(less important than #3 but more important than #5)- Resource management

(less important than #4 but more important than other remaining ve knowledge areas)

It is important to recognize and keep in mind that ALL knowledge areas are signicant, the assignment is aimed to understand your perspective about their importance.

The brief introducton about that knowledge area and how it helps in successful project completon.

Just fying why this 'knowledge area' is holding a specic place in your priority list. E.g. if it is the #1 knowledge area, why do you feel that it is the most important one compared to others.

Are there any other additonal knowledge areas that you feel should have been included in the list? Suggest at least two more with relevant explanaton.
