Question:
As PM of a major project, yourself and the project team are in the middle of a collaborative work session to select appropriate risk responses for the risk register. Suddenly the project sponsor and key stakeholders (who are not project managers), interrupt that meeting and inform everyone that treatment of risks for this project are unnecessary - so stop all risk analysis work as of today. That is, in order to save time and workload, they direct you and your project team to simply "accept" all project risks without further consideration. It sounds very unnatural to you as a PM, but as they are your "boss", you can't overrule them.
List, in order, the next 3-4 steps you would take on this matter as a responsible PM, with a brief description of the purpose of each step.
