As soon as she returned to Dublin, Ciara authorised Jim, her agent, to sell her antique jade necklace for not less than 3,000 and to purchase twenty laptops for her business for up to 6,000. Jim bought the necklace himself for 3,000 using a third party and then sells it on to a dealer for 4,000. Jim kept the 1,000 he has made. Jim, who is well known at PC World PLC as an agent for Ciara, contracted to buy ten laptops from them for 7,500.
