As stated in last week's Creative Writing Essay instructions, essays allow you to explore writing styles (for this class you will submit two types: creative and persuasive). You will submit a draft (which will be graded and feedback provided) and a final version of each essay. Each of the assignments should be 750-words count in length and will be graded for a maximum of 20 points each.

Pay attention to the requirement that you include a thesis statement in this essay (more information below).Underline your thesis statement.

As part of this essay, you must include at least three referenced sources for this assignment. Be very careful about how you use referencesby the end of the semester, you should master the use of finding and using exemplary references to support your proposal. Use your references in your essay (which do count as part of the 500-750 a word count requirement), and list your references at the end of the essay (the listing does factor into the word count).

Persuasive arguments win grants. Your goal in a proposal is to persuade a reviewer that you know the "big picture" of the problem you are proposing to address, that you are aware of other organizations (potential partners or competitors) that are working to address the problem, and that your organization is uniquely qualified to tackle the problem (or part of the problem). A 750-word count essay using data/research in a persuasive argument on a topic of your choice. This essay and all future assignments in the third person.

You must follow these instructions:

• The topic must be non-fictional in nature. It can be about a current issue for an organization, the country, the healthcare industry, or anything else that interests you.

• for information on writing a thesis statement and where it should appear in your document. Underline your thesis statement.
• You must incorporate at least three reference sources that support your thesis statement and follow APA of style citation (from the book for this course) throughout.
• At least one reference must include a statistic or data element. Providing quantifiable information is critical to grant writing.
• Your writing must be strong, straightforward, and convincing. Do not editorialize in this essay.
