As the new team leader, there are a couple sources of power and influence I have. These include the oversight and final say on projects and decisions made by employees, communication to potential suppliers, and the ability to motivate and relate to my employees. The source of power and influence I think would be most successful is the ability to motivate and relate to my employees. I chose this option because I firmly belive I would not be in this leadership position without this skill and source. The major potential consequence of uisng these sources of power and influence is the possible backlash from employees. For example, if as the leader, I overrule a decision on a project made by employes, those workers may complain that I was not there for the decision making porcess, and therefore should have no say in the matter. I think that I would be able to resolve any conflict within my employees by first hearing out what the issue is, finding out what caused it, and moving on them from there. Whether that involves going to HR or handling it in a meeting with the group of people that is involved would depend on
