As this is a writing course, your discussion board posts will be graded on content, sentence structure, spelling, and grammar.

As this is a description, it should be written in the 3^rd person, use spatial order, use vivid verbs and adjectives, and include more than one sense.

1. Please take a picture of a scene near you (it can be your desk, office, living room, etc.).
2. Post your picture on the discussion board by clicking the picture icon.
3. Make a plan that includes a topic sentence, spatial transitional expressions (on the left, in front, to the right, etc.), and a conclusion.
4. Then, form a short paragraph (be sure to include more than what you see; do you smell anything, hear anything, feel anything?).
