As Venue Manager, you have decided you will meet with a new employee who joined the organisation just yesterday and share with them the compliance information that applies to two of the areas in which they work and under which they have responsibilities. You have just finished developing these protocols and are quite proud of them and can't wait to pass them on. You also want to pass on some additional allied information regarding compliance and how the new employee can stay up-to-date with what is required, and how your organisation will assist and support them in this regard.
For this role-play you are required to demonstrate:
- how you would communicate the contents of any two workplace compliance policies to an employee
- how you would communicate the contents of two workplace compliance procedures that flow from the above two policies to an employee
- how you would advise an employee on remaining current with mandated legal compliance obligations.
The assessor may stop the assessment on occasion to:
- ask questions
- ask you to explain what and why you are doing something
- ask you to repeat an action
- tell you when to continue with the assessment task.
You must complete all tasks in the required time limit which for this role-play is five minutes.
The assessment will take place in an office setting.
