As you can see in exhibit 1.1 of the text, many areas of law affect business decision making. For this discussion, I would like for you to identify one of these areas of law, and come up with an example of your own. For example, as a result of tort law/personal injury law, companies serving hot beverages include warnings that those beverages may be hot. Speaking on the subject of the McDonald's "Hot Coffee" case, did you know that the plaintiff suffered injuries which were so severe that she required skin grafts and nearly eight days in the hospital? Did you also know what the plaintiff, who was 79 years old at the time, was served coffee which was so hot it was nearly boiling?
