As you continue to build and develop the slides for your final presentation, I thought it would be helpful if I shared the criteria for well-designed persuasive slides. Before you submit your final project, please make sure you have each of the following items covered:

  • Each slide should convey a single block of the Business Model Canvas for your hypothetical business venture
  • The image should fill the entire slide
  • Add voice-annotation to each slide (extra credit)
  • Very few words superimposed over the image
  • Complete set of support notes (including stats and industry information) in the Notes section
  • Your name and eMail address in the bottom left corner of each slide

Throughout this course you will be working toward creating a solid business model for a hypothetical new business venture you are embarking on! The final project is based on the following scenario: Your team is looking for funding for your new business venture.

You will be delivering your sides to a hypothetical group of investors. The idea is to be as professional and persuasive as possible! Instructions: Each week, beginning in Unit 3, you will create drafted PowerPoint slides representing each piece of Osterwalders Business Model Canvas (BMC)and how your new business is designed to function.

You have the option of instructor feedback as you prepare for the final submission of the presentation in Unit 8. Requirements: PowerPoint Slide Deck - The deck will be comprised of 10-15 slides including:

the first blank (white) slide, an introduction slide, one slide per element (total of 9 elements) with an IMAGE THAT FILLS THE ENTIRE SCREEN, a final persuasive thoughts slide, a reference slide, and a final blank (white) slide. 30% Complete, supporting notes representing each slide -

Each slide will have the Notes section completed with at least two cited references detailing the individual element of the BMC as it represents your business. Your grade, in part, will be based on the completeness and thoroughness of each slides Notes section.
