As you have worked throughout the course, you have created a living document called the Comprehensive Final Assignment. At this point, it includes 7 sections, one section corresponding to each module in this course. You have done most of the work; all you need to do is add one final section, and submit it. Prior to submitting your completed document, ensure that you have used proper APA formatting throughout all module segments where required (ie: in-text referencing, reference pages, etc). The completed document MUST have a title page, running head and page numbers and there is an APA portion to the rubric which it is suggested you review prior to submitting.

Instructions In your saved Comprehensive Final Assessment document, create a new heading called Self Reflection on Youth Justice. Under this heading, explain, in approximately 250 words, how your opinions about youth justice have changed from day one of the course to now by detailing a minimum of three "aha" moments that you had throughout the course. Because this is a personal reflection, it arises from your own self awareness, and there are no specific requirements in terms of what you must write about. You must, however, make specific references to course material. Save the entire document (which includes 7 module headings and the self-reflection heading). Review it for detail, grammar, spelling, and relevance, and save your final good copy in at least two places. Upload a final good copy of your Comprehensive Final Assignment through the Dropbox. In addition, upload to the Dropbox a copy of your sentence review and analysis you conducted in the Module 7 Segment of the Comprehensive Final Assignment. (This refers to your review and analysis of the sentence that your partner gave to Brittany, describing in detail the conditions that were put on her, expectations, the length of time Brittany has to complete any requirements, the length of the sentence if she was sentenced to custody, and what programs she should complete while in custody.) Just to be clear, you are to upload two documents: the completed Comprehensive Final Assignment document and a copy of the sentence review and analysis you completed in the Module 7 segment. Name the documents as follows: Document 1: Comprehensive Final Assignment_YOURNAME Document 2: Sentence Review_YOURNAME

Module 1 Segment Student has, without doing any research, used their own experiences, opinions and perceptions to FULLY answer ALL questions posed in the segment.

Module 2 Segment Student has fully described the philosophies of the JDA, YOA and YCJA and highlighted the key differences. Student has explained at least two concerns that arose with the JDA and the YOA before the YCJA was legislated. Student has provided a brief analysis of the YCJA in terms of how the legislation reflects current concerns in society.

Module 3 Segment Student located an appropriate media event and fully described the event. Student analyzed the event using two theories they learned about in the module and emphasized the differences in approach. Student described how the theories helped them understand the crime and the young offender(s). If additional research was conducted, student has used proper in text citations and referencing.

Module 4 Segment Student openly and honestly described their own background in terms of three of the risk factors identified in this module and included at least one family risk factor.

Module 5 Segment Student openly and honestly rated themselves for resilience using the numerical scale of 1 to 10 and fully explained why they made that rating using resiliency factors from the module. Student provided at least two detailed examples to support why they felt their self-assessment was accurate.

Module 6 Segment Student provided a logical and detailed sentence for Brittany and fully explained what sections of the YCJA applied and how the sentence reflected the principles of the YCJA.

Module 7 Segment Student reviewed and and analyzed the sentence that their partner gave to Brittany and provided insightful and justifiable feedback as to whether their partner's sentence was fair and whether it incorporated elements of restorative or transformative justice. Student also indicated what they would have done differently. Gave clear and detailed explanations, which incorporated applicable elements of the entire course

Self-Reflection Segment Student clearly explains how their opinions about youth justice have changed from day one of the course to now using at least three clear examples of "aha" moments and making specific references to course material to justify their change in perception.
