As you learned in our most recent board meeting, our efforts to increase business revanue from transporting emergency medical equiptment is not performing the way that we had hoped. We have recently lost several bids to transport N95 masks, and replacement parts for Ventilator Machines in hospitals, even though the demand has increased 400% due to the COVID-19 crisis. It appears that the medical community is not ready to take on the percieved risks of our technology. We have dedicated many hours, a large sum of money, and endless amounts of energy trying make this strategy work for our business. The employees at the ground level are dedicated to making this work, and have seen the important affects that our texor machines can have on the medical community being able to meet demands in real time. I am nervous that they are not going to be able to shift gears and pivot away from this strategy. I would like you to come up with a plan for how to approch this issue. Given that it is largely your staff who have dedciated the time to making this strategy come to life, we need to decide how we will move forward. I am not advocating a complete exit from this strategic priority, however, I would also not rule it out given the circumstances. Please use the knowledge you have about pivoting in the face of strategic challenges to devise a plan for moving forward.
