As you work to complete the milestone of RES864, it is important to think about the actual collection of data from your participants. As a researcher, you must think clearly about any risks associated with your study and how you can protect your participants from that risk.

Focus on the following:

• What are the risks to your human subjects? Note that there are always risks.
• How will you mitigate the risks?
• If you think that you do not have human subjects, go into the Doctoral Portal > IRB resources, undertake the No Human Resources assessment, and then report on your findings.
