    • Condition 1 (teeth condition): Instruct 5 participants to hold the lollipop stick in his/her teeth for 60 seconds while they read your comic. It is important for the participant's lips not to touch the lollipop stick.
    • Condition 2 (lips condition):Instruct 5 participants to let their lips touch the lollipop stick for the entire 60 seconds. It is important for the participants to keep their lips on the lollipop stick.
  2. Have each of your participants read the comic strips for at least 60 seconds and then rate how funny the comic strips are in their entirety (i.e., one rating for all three comments) using the scale provided below.
