Assessment 4 - HRM 306 Question Repatriation is as essential as expatriation. Repatriated employees contribute significantly to the company and often serve as role models for others who may undertake international assignments in the future. Most firms put a lot of effort into preparing employees for international assignments, but little or no effort is put into repatriation, and the effect is very damaging for organisations.
You are the HR director for a large Australian Multinational company. You are personally concerned about the rate at which repatriates struggle to adapt back to Australia and sometimes end up with your competitors.
Submit a report to the executive management of your company: Discussing at least five (5) factors that may affect the repatriation of your international assignees into Australia (These factors may be inter/intrapersonal, organisational, institutional, cultural, and even time-related)
Develop a retention strategy to help your organisation to retain employees returning from international assignments.
Your strategy should focus on all three phases in the cycle (i.e., Before they leave, on the assignment, and upon return)

The word count is 2,000-2,500, excluding references, tables, charts, and graphs.
