Purpose: To allow students to reflect on organisational behaviour theory, examine and critically analyse weekly learnings. Students will also develop an understanding of academic reflection and use scholarly research to complement scholastic discussion. This assessment relates to learning outcomes a, b, , d, and e. Value: 30% Due Date: Week 12 Topic: During the weekly lectures and tutorials, you will learn about the importance and impact of organisational behaviour in the workplace. Reflecting on the concepts learnt is a critical way to assess the course content and develop an in-depth understanding of OB theories. Use of online translation tools or Lite use. Do not copy and paste content Task Details: Students are to write a weekly academic reflection that discusses their weekly topics from the course. This should include: + Weekly 200-word reflection. + Include the discussion of at least one concept learned in class. Include at least one in-text citation for each reflection students can reference their textbook or own research. + Use relevant key words, theories and organisational examples from coursework. = This will cover content from week 3-12. Students are encouraged to write their academic reflections weekly. Itis important that the key ideas in week 12 are used to bring all the theories and concepts together for this course. Week 12 is critical in developing a solid academic reflection. Submission requirements details: Details about each criterion can be checked by assessing the subject outline. It is very important to note that research is a key criterion that will influence the mark you earn. Flease ensure you reference theories and concepts; accordingly, students may reference the textbook. Research beyond the textbook and using academic journals will lift the academic rigour of the reflection. While using a minimum of five (5) journal articles is expected, students will only achieve a top mark in their research component when they adequately use eight (8) research sources, the majority of which are journal articles. Kindly note that using Wikipedia, other online encyclopedia, and self-help websites is not allowed and may result in being given a fail grade for the essay. Important Notes: The assessment must be Harvard (Anglia) referenced, typed Arial 12 font, 1.5 spaced and delivered by using an essay structure. = Referencing is only considered adequate when the sources that are used in the work are relevant to the topic and acknowledged both in-text and in the references list at the end of the academic reflection. The assessment's length is 2,000 words (+/-) 10%. The word count excludes the cover sheet, table of contents, page, and references. A word document of your assessment must be submitted to Moodle by Sunday, week 12 at 11:59 PM. Files that are not submitted in word will not be accepted.
