Assessment Task

Identify and explain the uses of budgets within a manufacturing business then

analyse and evaluate the main behavioural issues usually associated with

budgetary control.

As part of the assessment for this module you are required to produce an

individual coursework in essay format. This represents 25% of the module mark.

You are expected to review the module materials and the recommended text and

read widely from a variety of different sources (e.g. textbooks, journal articles).

You are not expected to write detailed introduction or conclusion but instead

make relevant points that demonstrate your understanding of the assessment task.

Credit will be given for relevant, topical examples that illustrate the theory you are
