Assessment The assessment for this module will involve a critical evaluation of the approaches used in building high performance individuals and teams within your own organisation. (L01, LO4) This will provide a framework to use to appraise your own capacity to lead and develop others within the organisation, and analysis of your own leadership style. (LO2, LO3, LO5). You will use what you have learned in the readings, discussions, seminars and workshops to complete a portfolio, focusing on the problem, organisation, or professional challenge that you identify. Learning artefacts could include reports, case studies, reflective learning accounts, presentations, projects, proposals, plans or practical work based artefacts with accompanying critical commentary. The portfolio will be equivalent to 3,000 words (+/- 10%) L01) Identify and critique the elements of individual, group and organisational behaviour which underpin leadership and management practice OLO2) Demonstrate, through reflection, an enhanced capacity to manage their own learning and development OL03) Critically analyse theoretical models of leadership and management in relation to personal and organisational leadership practice OLO4) Enhance their capacity to develop the skills, knowledge and capabilities of others within their organisation OLOS) Recognise the complex nature of the decision making process and a critical awareness of the impact of implicit assumptions Assessment The assessment for this module will involve a critical evaluation of the approaches used in building high performance individuals and teams within your own organisation.
