Purpose: To identify emerging issues in human resources management [HRM] and apply comprehension of course material in resolving matters presented in the case. Students will demonstrate knowledge of behavioural and organizational consequences of specific HRM strategies, policies, and practices.

Length: 5 pages (double spaced) for each article. There are 3 articles.

  • MS Word Document Only, Standard font (12 pt. - Arial / Times New Roman or equivalent)
  • Include cover page
  • Citations: APA Citation for any sources used. Please provide a link to each article used for the assignment.Students are not required to provide the articles. A link in the citation will suffice.

Instructions:

Step 1: you are to research and find three articles of Human Resources in the news (or in practice). The article can involve any of class chapters or other topics with HR.

If there are no issues presented in the article, then write about the impact of the article content. Is this a trend? How does it impact the areas of HR discussed in our class?

  1. Explain the impact to the Organization or to Human Resources practices.
  2. Make the connection between the article and the HR principles in our class (or relevant HR topic).
